The last remaining public market in Columbus serves more than a million visitors a year, offering Ohio’s finest foods and goods from local farmers and merchants.
The North Market, established in 1876, prides itself on its authentic Columbus experience. More than 30 local, independent merchants offer organic produce, grass-fed meats, pastured poultry, sustainably raised seafood, locally roasted coffee, baked goods, cheeses, flowers and other artisan food items.
Columbus’ oldest operating farmers market occurs every Saturday on the outdoor market plaza during the growing season. Every sunday from June through October, local artisans, vintage sellers, furniture makers and jewelers converge on this plaza to sell their goods at the popular Peddler's Picnic. Visitors and local alike enjoy a variety of seasonal events and festivals that celebrate small, independent Ohio producers.
