What was once an industrial urban site is now a sanctuary for birds and nature lovers. The parkland runs along the Scioto River and is also home to the Grange Insurance Audubon Center, whose mission is to offer a connection to nature in the heart of Columbus. The park is a favorite among locals for the plethora of outdoor activities, including biking, fishing, boating, picnicking, rock climbing and an obstacle course – plus seasonal events and educational programs.
