Grant win could mean more CoGo stations

Where would you like to see a new CoGo station? See how Ohio State students are helping.

The anticipated Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission grant could lead way to 26 more CoGo stations! Increasing the system by over 50%. The grant would be for 13 more stations within the City of Columbus, along with five in Upper Arlington, four in Bexley and four in Grandview Heights. Representatives in all four jurisdictions have worked to site their preferred station placements, but the team has welcomed a few other eyes on the project.

For a class assignment, a group of 16 students in City & Regional Planning at the Knowlton School at The Ohio State University, are also researching locations for these new stations. They have presented at area commissions, done a deep dive into bike share research, and set up a website and social media to engage additional feedback. We look forward to hearing their findings.
